Reece Rondon is a shareholder at Hall Maines Lugrin, P.C. where he focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration, including coverage and subrogation litigation involving the London insurance market. In addition, his practice includes trial/mock trial consulting, jury consulting, testifying as a legal expert, as well as serving as an arbitrator.
Prior to joining the firm, Reece served as a Texas district court judge for over eight years, presiding over more than 125 jury trials. He led all civil district judges in Harris County with an “Outstanding” rating of over 71% in his last Judicial Evaluation Poll conducted by the Houston Bar Association. He regularly speaks at continuing legal education conferences on the national, state, and local levels. Reece also taught Trial Advocacy at the University of Houston Law Center for over four years. He graduated from the University of Houston with honors in both accounting and law, and served as an editor of the Houston Law Review. Reece also serves on various charitable boards of directors including the University of Houston Alumni Association, where he previously served as Chairman, and the University of Houston Law Alumni Association. He is a life member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. In 2007, he was named one of the Five Outstanding Young Houstonians by the Houston Jaycees, and one of the Five Outstanding Young Texans by the Texas Jaycees. Reece is a first generation American and is fluent in Spanish. He and his wife, Andria, have one daughter and live in Houston.
